In particular, many Japanese-style painters value lines, so there are a variety of brushes for line drawing. The Sokumyo and Sakuyo Fude are the most commonly used brushes for line and fine painting. Sakuyo Fude is a brush that can be used for both line drawing and painting, although it is thinner and stronger than the Sokumyo.
Sokumyo（則妙）

Kumadori-Fude（隈取筆）

It is used in "Kumadori," one of the expression techniques of Japanese-style painting, to add shading to previously painted colors by adding a lot of water to the brush, or to blur previously painted colors by rubbing the brush without water to create a three-dimensional effect.
Bokashi-Fude（ボカシ筆）
The brush is made of stiff bristles. By rubbing the brush with paint and rubbing it with the Bokashi Ami, the paint can be scattered and blurred beautifully. Also called Tataki Fude, this brush is used in the Sunago technique of scattering gold leaf in Japanese paintings, for example, by rubbing or tapping the gold leaf in the Sunago Dutsu with this brush to scatter the gold leaf finely. Nyosui（如水）

Poster-Fude（ポスター筆）
This brush is a flat brush made of goat hair. This flat brush has a softer drawing feel than nylon flat brushes. In addition to its use in Japanese painting, it is suitable for posters and other designs, and for decorating letters such as Gothic typefaces.
E-Bake（絵刷毛）
This brush is an E-Bake (Japanese flat brush) made of goat hair. It is used in Japanese-style painting for ground and water painting, as well as for applying a wide range of paints. Oronpy-Bake（オロンピー刷毛）
