Rouketsu Fude/Etsuke-fude
This brush is used for batik (batik dyeing), in which melted wax is applied to cloth. The brush is designed so that the wax does not drip off and stays on the tip of the brush. It can also be used as a brush for making Dami (濃み/ダミ)when painting with Gosu(呉須).
特製ローケツ用筆(Special Type)
Tokusei Rouketsu Fude
The special Rouketsu brush has a stronger tip than the lower Rouketsu brush and is suitable for firm and detailed application.

Rouketsu Fude
also known as “Etsuke-fude Rouketsu/Dami”
This brush is designed to reduce the amount of bristles on the tip of the brush so that wax and Gosu can be easily collected on the tip of the brush. It is softer than the specially made brush for rouketsu.
