This brush is a type of Senbyo-Fude (line drawing brush). This brush is made almost entirely of soft goat hair, which allows it to hold water well and produce soft lines. It is a favorite brush for line drawing, coloring, and blurring in Japanese painting.
This brush has a longer brush tip than the Saishiki Fude, making it easier to apply details, and is frequently used for painting and drawing patterns in ceramics and dyeing.
